Selling your products and services to Monroe County and/or the City of Rochester could substantially increase your business sales.  Please join us for this free session to learn from the County and City purchasing offices about their processes and how to become a vendor.  Several local support agencies will provide a brief overview of their services, followed by " how to do business" briefs form the county and city purchasing officials.  The event will culminate with a panel discussion/Q&A session.  Also, learn about small business set-asides at the City and County level.

Monroe County Purchasing Department
The Division of Purchasing and Central Services is comprised of two units: the Purchasing Unit and the Contracts Unit. The Purchasing Unit is responsible for administering purchase and public works contracts in accordance with New York State General Municipal Law while the Contracts Unit is responsible for coordinating the execution of Service Contracts, which includes professional services agreements, and agency contracts with not-for-profit agencies.
 
 
City of Rochester Purchasing Department
The City of Rochester has an M/WBE Utilization Plan that ensures that African American, Hispanic American and Women-owned businesses receive a percentage of the total contract amount for each public works project. These goals depend on whether the project is street construction or general/building construction.
